Let me first start this off by saying I have been looking forward to new Dark Abyss for a while now. Upon listening to the first track of this release, I was hooked. The lowheavy guitar noise drones on, with some chanted agonized moans creating a paysage of depravity, solitude, and discordinance. The moans occasionally transform into bursts of gutteral vocals. The second track, one of my favorites personally, has a crushing guitar tone that tears you apart the entire duration of the song. It is occasionally followed by a melody from another guitar, which adds to an Incredible atmosphere. The vocals in this one again, gutteral throat-shredding tones from within. The other tracks are drone/noise masterpieces. Harsh to the ears, and to the soul. Crushing all your bones, and leaves you with a deeply disturbed feeling afterwords. Brilliant album, I give it a solid 90%.
